Did I just get a platinum ring?
I bought an engagement ring last night at Kay Jewelers at the mall. It’s a .52, VS1, F round cut in a solitaire setting of white gold.
Well after looking over it again and again and thinking about everything and anything I noticed that inside the band it says
PT950 ZEI
Does this mean the ring is really platinum?
I paid $1800. for it and if it is platinum is that a really good deal?
Thanks for answers. They do have a 90 day return policy if I decide to return it but if I just got really lucky I’m thinking I don’t want to let them know.
I’m now surfing the net trying to see more about this to get an understanding.

It certainly is platinum, according to ask.com. I’ll include the link below. As far as whether or not you got a good deal, I just don’t know, but since platinum is more expensive than gold, I’d say so.
